Press conference today, etc

There was a press conference today and if I'm your only source for bruins news I should tell you what happened:

  • Patrice Bergeron's concussion will keep him out until he's done.  He said the doctors said that the way he hit the guy he hit would've given anyone the same concussion - history or not.  Still, it's not a good thing.
  • Marco Sturm will need to have his meniscus repaired and might need his ACL repaired as well.  If his ACL needs repairing, we'll be without THE GERMAN for the rest of the year.
  • Martin St. Pierre and Vladimir Sobotka got sent down to Providence.  Martin Karsums has been called up.
  • Lucic isn't playing tomorrow.
  • Ference's recovery has slowed, so now he's back to the original schedule, putting his return at sometime in the next two weeks.
  • Lucic and Wheeler will be playing each other in the YoungStars game, being held in Montreal.  They're doing rookies vs. sophomores.
In other news:
  • The KHL All-Star game is tomorrow morning at 8AM.  Team Jaromir Jagr takes on Team Alexei Yashin in Red Square.  It'll be on NBC's "Universal Sports and if I get that channel you better believe I'll be setting my alarm.
  • The guy who stole the zetterberg stick from the kid at the winter classic will probably get off scott free with the money.  But the kid got a stick, and the guard ended up selling the stick in a bathroom.
